Honda displayed a new pure electric SUV E:
Prototype. Its unique appearance may become the design concept of the Honda family in the future, but its interior has not been displayed on the spot.
Recently, Honda announced a new design language for the interior space. It is reported that this design is expected to be the first to be carried on the new Civic.
Compared with all current Honda models,
this new interior design concept is more “concise”. The lines of the center console are clear and neat, and it looks very comfortable. With smaller buttons, it creates a spacious interior.
At the same time, the addition of a full LCD instrument panel, a large floating central control screen and an electronic shift handle is more in line with the current trend of youthfulness. In addition, the brand-new three-spoke steering wheel and through-type air-conditioning vents are also more fashionable.
Johnathan Norman, creative director of American Honda Interior Design Company, said that
simplicity in design not only requires a strong philosophy, but also requires strict standards for user experience, and people-oriented is one of the important creative principles.
Honda’s all-new Civic plans to be officially released in overseas markets on April 28, and plans to go on sale in the second quarter of this year (subject to the overseas second quarter time).
In terms of power,
the domestically produced version of the new Civic will be equipped with a 1.5T turbocharged engine with high and low power adjustments. The maximum power is 128 horsepower and 182 horsepower respectively. The corresponding tails are 180 TURBO and 240 TURBO respectively, matching CVT gearboxes.
