As an independent passenger car brand under the FAW Group,
Bestune is also an established domestic manufacturer. The Bestune X40 model launched in recent years has won the favor of many young consumers with its young and stylish appearance and configuration level. However, due to the accidental flameout, the Pentium X40 has once again staged a recall.
A few days ago,
FAW Group has filed with the State Administration of Market Supervision and Administration for the recall of some Besturn X40 models, which will begin on July 23, 2021.Part of the 2019 Pentium X40 produced between April 24, 2019 and September 4, 2020, was recalled, totaling 43,087 units.
The reason for the recall is that this batch of vehicles is due to defects in the design of the carbon canister assembly.During normal driving, the vehicle may turn off abnormally, and may even cause the risk of an accident in the vehicle, which poses a safety hazard.
The solution is that FAW Bestune Car Co., Ltd. will inspect and replace the carbon canister assembly with a new structure for the vehicles within the scope of the recall free of charge to eliminate potential safety hazards.
In addition, it is worth noting that the Pentium X40 is not the first recall because of the accidental flameout.
As early as June 2018, FAW Group recalled some of the Pentium X40 ordinary passenger cars produced between October 27, 2017 and April 26, 2018, totaling 8,620 units.
The reason for the recall is that there are defects in the vehicle controller program. After using the remote function of the mobile phone, the vehicle may be abnormally stalled during driving. In extreme conditions, there is a risk of causing an accident in the vehicle, and there is a safety risk.
