Recently, nearly 750,000 vehicles of General Motors were investigated in the United States because of the hidden danger of airbags.
the National Highway Safety Administration (NHTSA) is investigating the situation of 749,312 General Motors. The airbag indicator lights of these vehicles may prevent the airbag from opening when the vehicle is in an accident.
According to the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) investigation, the vehicles involved include 2020-2021 Chevrolet Silverado, Suburban and Tahoe, GMC Sierra, Yukon, Yukon XL, Cadillac Escalade, Escalade ESV, CT4, CT5 and XT4.

Not long ago,
some airbag components produced by Joyson Safety Systems, a component supplier, were investigated by the National Highway Security Administration. The reason for the investigation is that there are certain defects in these components that may cause the airbags to fail to function properly when the accident occurs.
It is reported that these airbags are used in cars manufactured by automakers such as Mercedes-Benz, Toyota Motor Corporation, General Motors and Nissan Motor Co., and the affected automakers have begun to recall related vehicles.
According to NHTSA statistics, airbag safety recalls have involved 13% of all registered vehicles in the United States. As of March 12, 40 million vehicles have been recalled and airbag repairs have been completed.
