Now, there are new rumors from China that the company is expected to open its first device in the second quarter, which will start in April and end in June.
Sadly, it will be a folding device, and not roll back like the Oppo X2021 concept shown in the image below and last year-it won’t become a real product anytime soon.
In addition to Oppo, there are rumors that Xiaomi, Vivo and even Google will enter the foldable field in 2021, although we are not sure when other companies will be revealed. Most (though not all) of these devices say that these folding types are different, so it seems that the type of folding applied by Huawei’s Mate X and Mate X is no longer a trend. Or it may lack stability.
Huawei has announced a foldable dual-screen phone in the Mate X2 format in 2021, and Samsung is also expected to release the Galaxy Z Fold 3 and Z Flip 3 sometime in the third quarter, so foldable games are about to heat up.
