Taycan is Porsche’s first mass-produced pure electric model. This car also pays attention to the control and dynamics of vehicles in the electrification era.The top speed can exceed 300km/h, but the direct consequence is that the vehicle’s endurance is relatively poor.
Recently, according to media reports,The cruising range of the 2021 Porsche Taycan has been tested by the EPA and the data is 320 kilometers.Another test showed that the pure electric cruising range of the Porsche Taycan is 405 kilometers.

Previously, the EPA had increased the data of the 2021 Porsche Taycan 4S, Taycan Turbo, and Taycan Turbo S, which corresponded to cruising range of 363 kilometers, 339 kilometers, and 322 kilometers.
The Porsche Taycan comes standard with a 79.2 kWh battery, with EPA data of 320 kilometers. With the optional high-performance battery pack, the battery capacity is 93.4 kWh and the EPA data is 362 kilometers.
The latter has a cruising range of up to 453 kilometers in tests conducted by related institutions, which is quite different from EPA data.
Domestically, the entry-level Porsche Taycan model will be launched at the 2020 Chengdu Auto Show with a guide price of RMB 888,000. For reference, a 79.2 kWh battery corresponds to a cruising range of 414 kilometers, and a 93.4 kWh battery corresponds to a cruising range of 489 kilometers.
In contrast, Tesla Model S, which is a competitor of the same level with the Porsche Taycan.It is equipped with a 100kWh battery pack and has a cruising range of up to 719 kilometers in China, far exceeding the 489 kilometers of the Porsche Taycan.
